Rapaura Springs, Reserve, Pinot Noir

Description

Rapaura Springs (pronounced Ra-para) is a unique oasis in the dry Marlborough landscape with natural underground springs providing a life source for the vines. This pure water enables the vineyards to produce outstanding fruit with minimal intervention. The logo represents springs water flowing from their stony aquifer. The Pinot Noir grapes used in this wine were sourced from select premium vineyards within the Marlborough region. Small parcels of quality fruit were harvested over a number of days from four individual vineyards in four separate sub-regions of Marlborough. Fruit was picked when optimum levels of ripeness and flavour were achieved.

Lifted aromas of berry and spice combine with a smooth and vibrant palate. A wine full of complex fruit flavours, spicy oak notes and underpinned by a fine tannin structure.
