Chateau La Pigotte Terre Feu Medoc
Chateau la Pigotte Terre-Feu is a small production from thirty year old vines. This 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is fermented in concrete vats. Half of the blend remains in the vats for twelve months to develop, while the rest is in old barrique which lends structure and toasty notes. The wine is a bright ruby red in colour with notes of fresh redcurrants, plums and bramble fruits, a subtle mineral note combines with sweet spices and soft tannins on the finish.
